Filming Techniques and Specialized Gear

The Production Team from Epic Films recently began using state of the art Dolley and Crain mechanisims in the production of their TV show for NBC, Austin UnCut.  We paid a pretty penny for these Professional Camera accessories and so we are now utilizing them to film Weddings like never imagined before.  Be one of the first people in town to see these exciting HollyWood Style Camera Angles in action as we capture your special day with Professional techniques that no one else in the business can offer.

In-House Non-Linear Digital Editing

All editing is done in-house on a state of the art non-linear digital editing systems, using mainstream graphics, titles, transitions, and special effects through a series of multi-screen editing bays.

Hard Wire and Wireless Microphones

Using a combination of SHURE hardwire and wireless microphones, every sniffle will be captured as you take your vows and pledge your love for one another.

Multi-Channel Audio Mixing

Using a multi-channel audio mixer, multiple soundtracks can be layered to transition scenes and soften the mood. These soundtracks can be layered in background of the real-time audio to enhance emotions and deliver the ultimate wedding experience.

All Raw Footage on Mini DV Tapes

Raw footage taken will be captured on mini Digital Video Tapes (mini DV), and given to each party for long term, unedited archive.

Picture Montage

1 Picture montage will be included for every couple. It is up to your discretion as to which picture montage you desire the most. Picture montages will include up to 30 pictures of your choice to be digitally captured and edited into a separate video with your choice of song playing in the background. You may choose from a variety of events for your picture montage including wedding day photos, dating, growing up, or honey moon photomontages for your custom video. Additional montages are available.

Wedding Highlights by Chapter

All finalized productions will be in DVD format. All DVD formatted productions will have highlights from the wedding organized by chapter for easy viewing. The reception, vows, first dance, bouquet toss, picture montages, etc. will be viewable in real time from a main menu on the DVD. All edited and non-edited video will be accessible from one central disc menu.

Final Presentation

Final product will include 4 DVD’s, organized by chapter highlighting events from the day. Edited pieces will include: an edited Highlight video (5-10 minutes), and 1 edited picture montage. Final DVD will include raw footage, up to 1 hour, of all significant events requested by client.
