Q: What type of equipment to you use to film?
A:  Epic Films only uses the Finest Broadcast Quality sound, light and video equipment.  All of our cameras are 3-chip, 1080i High Definition Cameras capable of shooting in a number of different High Definition and Standard formats.  All audio equipment is Sony and Shure, two of the industries leading microphone companies, and all of our lighting equipment is complimented with a number of different style soft-boxes, barn doors, color gels, and different intensity bulbs.

Q: What type of Video Projects has Epic Films done in the past?
A:  Epic Films was introduced in the world of Action Sports.  Specializing in Professional Wakeboard Production, Epic Films has produced mainstream action sport content for a National Audience.  As the company grew, we began filming Music Videos, Documentaries, Weddings, and tons of Online Video Content.  We captured UIL state Sporting Events in every discipline for Fox Sports Southwest and GamesTapes for over 2 years.  Epic Films was a production assistant on the NBC show Hot On Austin, and the CBS shows We Are Austin, and Texas Sports Extra.  Epic Films also operated out of Lake Tahoe, California producing a wide variety of ski and snowboard video content.  Executive Producer Clint Choate obtained his Master of Arts Degree in Multimedia Production in 2007, then went to work for CBS Austin as a Commercial Writer and Producer.  Currently, Epic Films is operating as an In-House Production company for Paddington Media, a dynamic full-fledge media firm in Austin, Texas, specializing in web-video content, broadcast commercials and custom graphic animation.

Q: What big projects are you working on now?
A:  Epic Films and Paddington Media is currently working on the largest project in our history, a sure-fire landmark step in local television programming.  We are currently producing a hit new local television series called Austin Un-Cut.  Austin Un-Cut is a new television program showcasing the city of Austin and what makes our city so unique.  The show highlights the entertainment, music, food and local atmosphere that makes Austin one of the most unique cities in the world.  Epic Films and Paddington Media hand-select the businesses that we feature on this high-energy television program, and look forward to expanding to additional markets in the immediate future.
